Cinnamon Brioche

I love Persephone Bakery and I love that it lives in the heart of Jackson Hole, WY. No matter what, I always leave town with their popular Cinnamon Brioche or a bag full for the ride home, let’s be real. I was at Persephone’s downtown location on Valentine’s Day, and instead of ordering his own Brioche, my boyfriend decided he’d just try a bite of mine. I’m obsessed with Persephone, so naturally, I was capturing photos from the outside as we were leaving. When I turned to grab a bite of the brioche, he had devoured over half of my all time favorite pastry. I really can’t blame anyone for devouring a pastry when it’s from Persephone, because I can relate—their cinnamon brioche is dangerously delicious! Cinnamon and brown sugar are intertwined in every swirl. Did I mention there’s more cinnamon and sugar sprinkled all over the outer surface? It’s flaky on the outside, and becomes a moist cinnamon roll soft sensation on the inside—the taste is unreal. 

Persephone lets you order a tray or pastry box of their cinnamon brioche one or two dozen at a time. They even have “bake at home” options, and you can freeze them, too! Trust me, this is a treat that’s worth the calories!
